The Expert Board

A boardroom of advisors. On demand. For the price of a coffee.

Lone decision-makers have a perspective problem. You see things from one or two angles and miss the rest. Hiring actual advisors costs thousands.

The Expert Board gives you a panel of advisors — real people whose thinking you admire. Steve Jobs, Warren Buffett, Sara Blakely, anyone you choose. They respond in character, debate your plans, challenge your thinking, and disagree with each other.

The disagreements are the point. They surface trade-offs you'd otherwise discover the hard way.

What it does.

1

Assemble your board

Pick five advisors — real people whose thinking you respect. Steve Jobs on product. Warren Buffett on numbers. Sara Blakely on brand. Anyone you want. They respond in character, using their known frameworks and biases.

2

Present and get reactions

Bring any plan, idea, or problem. Each advisor gives their immediate reaction, the biggest risk or opportunity they see, and one question they'd ask before going further.

3

Structured debate

When the board splits, let them argue. Advisors challenge each other's reasoning directly. No corporate pleasantries. Sharp, honest disagreement.

4

Drill into any perspective

Want more from the CFO? The strategist? Ask any advisor to go deep — detailed analysis, evidence, recommendation, and what would change their mind.

5

Board recommendation

Where they agree. Where they disagree. The majority recommendation. The dissenting view. Next steps. Everything you need to move forward.

6

Specialist sessions

Hiring decisions. Pricing strategy. New product go/no-go. Crisis response. Pre-built formats for the situations where multi-perspective thinking matters most.

Is this for you?

Good fit

  • Make decisions alone or in small teams with limited perspectives
  • Want to stress-test plans before committing time and money
  • Value diverse viewpoints but don't have access to a formal advisory board
  • Facing a specific decision and want structured thinking around it

Not a fit

  • Already have a strong advisory board or management team
  • Want validation, not challenge
  • Prefer to go with their gut and don't want it questioned
